ERASMUS relations of the Faculty of Theology Halle

Students at our faculty have the opportunity to study at the European partner universities listed above as part of ERASMUS. If you cannot see the content of the chart, try switching to the German website.

If you are studying other subjects, you can also find out about the partnerships there. As each faculty has its own ERASMUS partnerships, this gives you a wider choice.

Further ways to study theology abroad

Israel: Jerusalem

Studium in Israel (Hebrew University)

The "Studium in Israel" program, which has been running for more than 30 years, enables a group of mostly German-speaking theology students to learn the basics of rabbinical literature (mainly Talmud and Midrash) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem every year. As the language of instruction is Hebrew, a very good knowledge of modern Hebrew (Ivrit) is a prerequisite for application; this can be continued during the academic year up to the academic language degree. An accompanying theological program enables the integration of this interdisciplinary occupation into the study of theology. Further information can be found here.

Supervised by a director of studies, the Centro Melantone provides an accompanying framework program as well as structural and financial support.
