The Office of the Registrar and Academic Student Support
- advises you on general curricular questions at the faculty of Theology
- accepts your examination registration forms
- files your module certificates and certificates relating to language and intermediate exams as well as testing examinations and keeps them ready for collection
- allows you to view the assessed exams
- offers hardcopies of the annotated course catalogue for purchase
- provides forms for seminar credits, course sheets, etc., which you can present to your course instructors for signature
The Office of Academic Student Advising and Support is located in House 30, Ground Floor, Room 10 (in the right (northern) wing next to the Office of the Dean.

The current regulations for the conducting the supplementary proficiency examinations for Latin (Latinum - as well as “minor” and “major” Latinum”), Greek (Graecum) and Hebrew (Hebraicum) are available here .

Registration at the Faculty
Please register with the Faculty Office of the Registrar and Academic Student Support in the first week of the semester if you are starting your theology studies in Halle or if you have transferred to Halle from a different university during the course of your studies. Please bring a passport-size photograph with you.
Please also remember to provide your updated contact details in case you have moved or if your phone numbers / email addresses have changed. Incorrect data can have adverse consequences for you during the examination process.
