  • Erzählte Geschichte – die Logienquelle als Erzählung
Oral History – the Logia-Source as Narration ( Habilitation Thesis)
Historical events are preserved through various forms of storytelling and modified to render them relevant to present histories. The historical event itself prevails in the narrative mode. Even the logia-source can be viewed as a narrative that preserves the history of Jesus through storytelling. This will be demonstrated using historiographical approaches to the study of the logia-source, which is interpreted as a form of storytelling in light of more recent theoretical insights.
  • Translation of the Greek Book of Deuteronomy.
The Book of Deuteronomy is being translated and annotated as a part of a larger translation project dedicated to the Greek Old Testament (Septuaginta, German edition). The translation is scheduled to be published by the German Bible Society.
Cooperating partners: Prof. Dr. Thomas Pola and Dr. Cornelis den Hertog
