My current research focuses on Paul’s directives in Colossians, placing them in the context of the legal culture prevalent in the Roman Empire. My study seeks to understand the influence of Roman law on the manifestation of particular vices, examining both the broader societal trends within the Empire and the nuances of individual behaviour.
