The department Global History of Christianity of the MLU in coorperation with the Interdisziplinäres Zentrum für Pietismusforschung and the University of Hamburg organizes the interdisziplinary workshop "Hallescher Pietismus und 'Orient'. Dynamiken globaler religiöser Interaktionen im 18. Jahrhundert". The workshop will be held on 27–29. September 2023 in Halle (Saale).

The Junges Forum Freikirchen of the Konfessionskundlichen Instituts Bensheims is prepared in cooperation with a group of moderators, including Paulien Wagener this year. The title of this year's forum is "Freikirchen und Judentum. Eine Verhältnisbestimmung ökumenisch diskutiert" (Free Churches and Judaism. An ecumenical discussion of the relationship) and will take place from 7 to 9 September 2023 at the Theologischen Seminar Erzhausen.
